empty.audience is a home for the silenced voices, the muffled screams, the unsung songs and quietened dreams.
Born from an ode to yap in a world that demands the opposite.

Welcome to the creative expression of a twenty-something-year-old called Saja, taking life and adulthood, one moment and memory at a time. empty audience doesn't strive to be a business (we have enough of those), it's an expression of self, of what could have been and what is yet to come. An outlet of poems, crafts, vlogs, thoughts and candles. All items that could have been kept private, quiet and shut away, but I've never been one to remain silent.

Crafting Sustainably

A question of why?

A question of 'why start a business in this environmental and economic climate' is valid and should be addressed. We live in times of corporate and capitalist greed, something I have no part in perpetuating. empty audience is cyclical, an outlet used to express creativity with all means poured back into itself.

I don't know where it is going or what the future holds, but all items made are made with sustainability in mind.

Every day I strive to be better. Did you notice my prose? In reference to I and not we or us, as empty audience is just a girl called Saja, always present, always accountable, always growing.

Reusability in
unique forms

Sustainability is something I care about, as we only have one little planet we all share.

I make everything in small batches, with a large number of recycled and reused products.

I use plant-based soy wax for my candles and wax melts because it’s renewable and biodegradable, and it melts slowly and softly, filling your space with scent without the harshness of petroleum-based waxes.

I use simple packaging that is almost fully reused or recycled. I achieve this by collecting bubble wrap, boxes and more from friends, family and work to save them from going into the landfill.

I won't claim to be perfect, and I won’t pretend to have all the answers.
